Abraham William Kreml

Abraham William Kreml. age 63, a resident of Mokena formerly of New Lenox, passed away on Sunday May 2, 2021. Loving husband of Janet Kreml ( Maly); dearest son of Lois Kreml (Vree) and the late Charles Kreml, Sr.; beloved father of Abraham W. (Steffi) Kreml, II, Brian (Laurie) Kreml, Jeffrey Kreml and Traci (Tim) Frainey; dear brother of Pam (Bill) Sanderson, Judy Kreml, Charles (Nancy) Kreml, Jr., Susan (Mike) Allgood, Robert (Deborah) Kreml and Thomas Kreml; cherished Opa of Aiden, Griffin, Henry, Timmy and Evelyn; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Abe was a superintendent for the spray fireproofing company Wilkin Insulation retiring in 2019, member of Plasters Local 5 and served on the E Board for many years. He was a graduate of Lincoln Way Community High School, and avid Bears fan, he enjoyed golfing and spending time at beaches especially in the Caribbean and traveling to St. Martin. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM, with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 12:30 PM. ALL IN ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow to St. John Cemetery, Mokena. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Abraham's name to Team Gleason teamgleason.org would be appreciated.
