Age 87, a resident of Braidwood, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Paul Etchison; loving mother of Barbara (Lawrence) Foster; cherished grandmother of Brian (Julie) Foster, Brent (Ande) Foster, Brad (Kate) Foster, Paul (Joann) Etchison, and Nate Etchison; and great-grandmother of Jack, Nolan, Addison, Ruby, Briella, Ethan, and Alyssa; dear sister of Jake (Shirley) Meres and Christine (Al) Sebits; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Christine Meres (Bednar); son Jeffery Etchison, and 8 siblings. Maryann adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. The family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 9:30 AM until chapel prayers at 10:30 AM leaving to St. Dennis Catholic Church, 1214 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 for a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Kankakee Valley, 482 Main St NW Bourbonnais, IL 60914.
